June is Scoliosis Awareness Month.
 
In honor of this distinction, I'm reposting a fantastic quote that speaks to 11-year-old me, a vibrant little girl who loved sporting her velvet jacket in the sixth grade and was ready to take the fashion world by storm until she was temporarily sidelined by a scoliosis diagnosis.
 
Now, I have reshaped the narrative and the fashion world will get me viewing the experience through a different lens. Sending strength and compassion to everyone managing the "curve" and living with scoliosis.
